The path teaches you to conduct a security assessment of an industrial automation and control system: what to look at, in what order, with which method and what evidence is produced. The method is that of the IEC 62443 series, read the way it is used by those who have to deliver the assessment.
The common thread is convergence: IEC 62443 says how it is done, ISO/IEC 27001 says how it is governed, NIS2 says what is required. In every module the path shows where the three overlap, where they diverge and how a single finding produces evidence valid for all three.
Who it is for: automation and maintenance managers, process and plant engineers, IT and OT security managers, system integrators and component suppliers, compliance managers and NIS contacts, auditors and consultants.
Estimated duration: 26 hours. 6 modules, 100 test questions, 6 exercises, final test and named certificate.
Content updated to October 2026 on the IEC 62443 series for the security of industrial automation and control systems, with links to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, Directive (EU) 2022/2555 (NIS2) and Legislative Decree 138/2024.
Unlock-based progression: each module opens when you pass the test of the previous one (threshold 70%, unlimited attempts). At the end, a final test of 30 questions on the whole path, with three attempts one week apart, and, once passed, the PDF certificate with a verification code.
